Mining in Africa Map via Mining Technology |
The rich and diverse culture and traditions, non-extreme environmental habitat, rich wildlife and tropical climate: Coltan for our electronics, cobalt for our batteries, nuclear ore for power, phosphates for quality agriculture, oil and petroleum for fuel not to mention our renewable energy potential, gold and diamond for wealth and luxury. Africa holds one of the largest mineral reserves in the world, 30%.
Africa has the weapon of civilization at hand, only the
execution awaits. The day awaits when Africa will wake up and realize that she
has all she needs, she will stop to imitate, stop apologizing and start
innovating.
The civilization will be picked from where it was
hijacked, with peace, unity and organization Africa will bring order to
humanity through ethics and virtues, bringing back the broken world that is
lost in wars and cold wars.
African Renaissance; The Starting Point
Africa must first move without hesitation to fight and completely eradicate rampant violence that tears our communities apart and threaten stability in our states. The poverty index as well must be kept in check. Our leadership that is infested with corruption and impunity should be revised and brought to order.
African renaissance is a political movement that must be integrated into our education system. Our leadership must be Afrocentric even if we are trying to incorporate western democracy. This must call for the concept of Pan-Africanism too to be integrated into our systems. Africa’s problems can and should be solved by Africans.

The elite class of Africa should be true patriots; the
African oligarchs ought to do their investments at home and put to use the vast
mineral reserve that rests on our crusts. These investments must be of quality
and benefit the African people all over the continent.
African people must be free from the mental servitude that
rest on their mind, we must be willing and ready to buy Africa and build Africa.
Our states must stand up to us, provide quality leadership, and protect the citizens
from capitalists and trade cartels.
African renaissance as a philosophical movement must
eradicate the African plagues i.e. ethnicity, violence, rampant corruption, poverty
and underdevelopment, more than most of the social plight installed by the
inferiority complex. The philosophy must aim to replace the plagued African continent
with more just and equitable order, to improve the living standards of her citizen
wiping Africa off the ‘international laugh’ of a wretched race.
Political and Military Power; Africa’s Tool
People and politics is a very critical and complex industry, therefore, Africa’s politics must be aimed at protecting and improving the continent. Politicians must all speak one voice, of peace and unity, they must represent the people and not the corporations that put them in power.
Propaganda that divides and escalates tensions amongst us should be discouraged and such politics should be kept in check if we are to avoid another Rwanda 1994. Politics must be used as a tool to help improve our states and people. The international community must be welcomed, and we must integrate both politically and economically.
Utilizing the vast mineral wealth of Africa can skyrocket its industrialization, and optimize its production. Venturing into the motor industry, the tech industry, pharmaceuticals, agricultural and tertiary industries, changing the face of the continent from underdeveloped to a first-world economy.
Therefore, Africa should start investing in the
security department, and military personnel and artilleries must be available at
hand. The training must be elite and its technology must be at its peak and secured
at all costs.
Africa needs no nuclear weapons; we need no atom bombs when our people are still languishing in extreme wretchedness when access to social amenities and infrastructure is far from excellence. Furthermore, Africa has no history of invading other continents/states, we never dropped bombs or invaded other countries within or outside our continent.
Africa purposely needs military power to monitor
all the espionage activities that destabilize our states. Our states must be
alert to the enemies of states that aims to hijack our independence and shove
our economies into turmoil, those of enemies of the state who wage meaningless wars
against our innocent citizens.
Africa’s military command must see that the Boko Haram,
Al Shabaab, several rebels and rogue citizens who terrorize the African people
must be brought to check in all ways possible. The command must increase its
military intelligence capacity and capabilities to provide counterintelligence to
several clandestine operations that are aimed at our continent, those that the
ordinary police force might never see.

Trade and Commerce; Africa’s Leverage
With vast mineral wealth, Africa has the maximum
advantage to acquire that which it lacks. Africa will use the winds and waters
of trade and commerce to bring and increase our potential return on
investments. More common markets should be integrated, and member state should open
up their borders, provide one currency and provide favourable trade terms.
With the use of surplus raw materials as our tool of
argument, Africa must continue to invite the international markets to exchange goods and
services, to better improve international cohesion thus bringing the world together
as one of the world's largest trading centres.
Trade and transactions in and out of Africa must be
fair and just. Africa must only indulge in win-win trade agreements; exploitations
of whatever manner must be counteracted with steadfastness. The workers and peasants
must get better wages that are revised frequently and dividends must be distributed
equally, every citizen must get according to their hard work, this way Africa
will reduce the wide gap between the filthy rich and the extremely poor
citizens.

Africa has all she needs and that which the world needs, therefore, she must use it to her full advantage. Africa must stop over depending on the outside world, she must start using her talents, stands on her own and lead the world forward as it did thousands of years ago in the valleys of Niger, Limpopo, Zambezi and in North and East Africa.
Africas' Role in 21st Century Civilization
The new world is much gone and times have changed, Africans
too are expected to change their ways of operations, and direction of thinking and improve
their ethics and virtues. Civilized people don’t wage war against themselves,
murder themselves in cold blood, exploit and starve the less fortunate
societies, or hate and despise their culture and traditions, a civilized people
work all around to improve their society, making it a better place to live.
The rebuilding of the lost civilization in Africa must start with the individual African, they must change their minds for the first revolution is that of the mind. Our leaders can play activists and revolutionaries but as long as individual citizens don’t go through the struggles of self-education and realization until every African realizes their potential as individuals the African renaissance, political and economic power, trade and commerce will be nothing but confusions to the ordinary African people.
